A block of newly built social housing in Co Meath may have to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch over the developer’s failure to register, on time, a building commencement notice, the Commercial Court has been told. Constructor Coreet Limited, a special-purpose vehicle linked to developer Bernard McNamara, is challenging the decision of Meath County Council on September 21 last refusing to register a Certificate of Compliance of Completion under the Building Control Regulations to Block D at Bryanstown Wood, Beamore Road, Drogheda due to the procedural failing.
