The pet care division of the US food multinational Mars spent €40 million acquiring Irish veterinary practices last year, new accounts for its subsidiary Linnaeus Veterinary Ireland suggest. Following its establishment in March 2021, the Irish holding unit of the group reported adding five subsidiaries at a €40 million valuation.
