Supplemental information contained in two independent expert reports has shed new light on the decision by the Cork retail giant Musgrave to seek a creditor-led examinership of Lanney’s SuperValu in Ardee, Co Louth. An initial petition to place the companies behind the supermarket into examinership was made in early December. However, the reports by Deloitte chartered accountant James Anderson give greater detail about the financial affairs of the SuperValu franchisee.
