The High Court has refused an application to strike out Belfast-based property developer Patrick Kearney damages suit against former employees at Davy. The businessman is suing the stockbroker and 16 former staff members, including high-ranking former executives like Kyran McLaughlin and Tony Garry, over a court settlement that followed the €5.3 million sale of his Anglo Irish Bank bonds to a consortium of Davy staff in 2014. Kearney wants to set aside the February 2016 settlement claiming he was induced to enter the agreement on foot of a fraudulent misrepresentation during the negotiations.
