The Co Galway vehicle battery technology start-up Xerotech has quietly raised over €24 million in the past two years, new company information reveals. In a note to its latest annual accounts, closed on December 31, 2020 and signed off on December 21, 2022, Xerotech reported: “The Company has received additional funding of €24,069,000 since the financial year end, from investors which comprises mainly of subscription to 5 per cent unsecured convertible loan notes.” Xerotech executives contacted by The Currency declined to comment on the funding and its utilisation when contacted on Wednesday.
