Growth, growth, growth. Paul Krugman famously called Ireland’s economic growth after 2015 leprechaun economics as it was so unreal. The Governor of the Central Bank has come in for quite a bit of criticism for insisting at least some of the growth we have seen recently, which at 12.2 per cent is the highest in the OECD, is real.
