Baker Tilly Ireland, the business advisory firm, has been acquired by Azets, a UK-based challenger accountancy firm which has been expanding rapidly through a string of recent European acquisitions. Baker Tilly Ireland had been part of Baker Tilly International, the global association of independent accountancy firms and its Irish practice is led by managing partner, Neil Hughes. A spokesperson for the business said they were not in a position to comment on any acquisition when contacted by The Currency on Wednesday.
