Kerry builder Eddie McGillycuddy’s UK-based business Glencar Construction has started work on a second vaccine factory on the outskirts of Oxford. The £150 million project, for US vaccine maker Moderna, comes after the completion last year of a £200 million vaccine factory, the Vaccine Manufacturing and Innovation Centre (VMIC) in the same 710-acre science park, Harwell.
