Tech investor Brendan Morrissey has brought shareholder oppression proceedings against well-known UK comic John Bishop over an investment in a hearing technology company. Lawyers for Morrissey say they had an “unfortunate falling out” last year and Bishop has laid “false and trumped-up” allegations of fraud against their client’s company BAK Holdings in separate proceedings before the Commercial Court.  That case, initiated by Bishop last year, relates to the IT and tech services BAK provided for the company, Hears Technology, a for-profit social enterprise for the hard-of-hearing.
