Ires Reit is in a fight with its seventh-biggest shareholder, a Canadian fund called Vision Capital. Vision published a long letter last week calling for Ires to be broken up and sold for parts. The letter addressed lots of problems with Ires. The overarching message is that Ires doesn’t make sense as a Reit.
