Bengt Braun recalls with bemusement an encounter in the Four Seasons in Dublin almost a decade ago. Braun is an avuncular legend in European publishing. He has done it all as a former chair and chief executive of the Bonnier Group, a Nordic media powerhouse that was founded more than 200 years ago.  In mid-2011 Braun, in addition to chairing Bonnier, was a non-executive director of Independent News & Media, Ireland’s biggest newspaper group.  INM was a business laden down with debt with a fractious shareholder base, but Braun could see its underlying potential.  He felt his experience could help…
