On Monday,  July 18, 2022, GlaxoSmithKline separated its consumer healthcare business from the wider GSK Group to form Haleon, an independent listed company.The multinational has substantial operations in Ireland, particularly Waterford. Haleon GlaxoSmithKline employs 930 workers across two sites in Dungarvan.
