Yesterday Flutter (FLTR:ISE), the betting business known to Irish consumers simply as Paddy Power, announced a merger with Canada’s Stars Group (TSG:NASDAQ) to form the world’s biggest gambling company. The combined group will be worth €11.7 billion, with more than 13 million customers and €4 billion in revenue. It will be headquartered in Clonskeagh and led by Flutter’s CEO, Peter Jackson.
