The Dublin-based ice-cream chain Scrumdiddly’s has entered rescue proceedings, new company information shows. Scrumdiddly’s Ice Cream Ltd appointed David O’Connor of BDO as process advisor on December 6 following a resolution of the company’s board, which is composed of husband-and-wife owners Jenny and Darren McCormack. O’Connor is tasked with preparing a rescue plan under the Small Companies Administrative Rescue Process (SCARP) while Scrumdiddly’s keeps trading.
