A protected, solar-powered outdoor clothes-drying device for balconies and gardens. When you see it written down on paper, it seems an absolute no-brainer. A modern and sustainable solution to an age-old problem, especially for a climate like Ireland’s where rainfall in its many forms is a near-daily constant.  Still, coming up with the idea in the first place, as well as the sleek egg-shaped design of the device, as Patricia Mangan did with Orbysun, takes a creative mind. And a little experience too. In Mangan’s case, the idea was fuelled by half a lifetime of experience, merging personal childhood memories…
