As the temperature rises on regulating online content in Europe, Udemy, the US online education company, has joined a chorus of firms lining up to criticise Ireland’s new media and tech watchdog. Udemy, which is headquartered in San Francisco and has an office in Dublin, has pushed back against Coimisiún na Meán, designating its services as a video-sharing platform under the regulator’s new online safety code.
