Shock news: There are two economies in the Republic and three on the island. In the domestic part of the Republic’s economy, personal spending is rising. Businesses are busy, retail sales volumes are rising. Government spending is rising. Imports are rising. Exports are flat. There has never been more money in Ireland’s banks.
