Volkswagen, the German car manufacturing giant, is partnering with Limerick technology company Mavarick on an energy optimisation project aimed at making manufacturing more sustainable.  Co-founded in 2022 by Dr Paul Byrnes and Koen Jasper, Mavarick helps manufacturers get more precise and accurate data from their manufacturing processes, allowing them to make better decisions across their business.  Its collaboration with Volkswagen in two of its German manufacturing facilities will see its technology used in the car giant’s automated guided vehicles (AGVs), which are essential in making car factories operate more efficiently.  Byrnes said the pilot project was a “great opportunity and…
