Payments giant Stripe has appointed long-term staffer Stephen O’Callaghan as the new CEO of its UK business, The Currency can reveal. O’Callaghan, who has spent nearly nine years working for the behemoth founded by Patrick and John Collison in 2010, was appointed a director of Stripe Payments UK earlier this month, company filings show. In addition to his role as CEO of Stripe Payments UK, he also maintains a position leading its product enablement and regulatory controls in Dublin.
