LianLian DigiTech, a Chinese payments technology firm, has dialled back its Irish operations to reshuffle how it will expand in Europe. LianLian, which provides cross-border payment services and went public in March in Hong Kong, set up a company in Ireland in 2019. The payments firm, whose parent is headquartered in Hangzhou, quietly established the Irish entity with plans to secure regulatory approval here and build out a base for targeting the EU market.
