CRS Group, a cold storage business based in Co Meath, has been acquired in a deal that marks another exit for private equity firm Renatus. Dutch company Coolworld Rentals has bought up the Irish business run by brothers John and Patrick Tyrrell. CRS provides cold storage facilities to sectors like food, pharma and cold chain logistics. Coolworld operates a similar business and is active in several European countries. The deal with CRS gives it an entry point into Ireland as well as picking up CRS’s business in the UK.
