A case taken in the US against Kerrygold-maker Ornua, alleging “forever chemicals” in its butter, has been dismissed. The case in a New York court centred on claims by a consumer that Kerrygold products had been exposed to harmful chemicals from their packaging. Ornua denied all claims. Last Wednesday, the judge dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning the case is closed and such claims by the plaintiff cannot be taken again.
