The accountancy firm Deloitte was appointed by the Enterprise Ireland and InterTradeIreland agencies to conduct an extensive evaluation of angel nominee vehicles used by more than 200 high-net-worth individuals to invest millions of euro across hundreds of start-ups over a multi-year period.  David Kinsella, the head of risk advisory at Deloitte, conducted the report into the well-known Halo Business Angel Network (HBAN), a process that took several months and involved multiple interviews with a number of the parties involved.  Deloitte was appointed to carry out its review on foot of a March 2022 report by regulatory experts Aquest that flagged…
