Receivers appointed by AIB to an ex-Aperee nursing home over an alleged €3.97 million debt have applied to remove a lis pendens over the Co Waterford property to facilitate a speedy sale. Insolvency practitioners Andrew Byrne and James Anderson of Deloitte say a buyer is lined up to acquire the fully fitted but vacant 64-bedroom nursing home, 14 apartments and undeveloped site, but allege the former owner is trying to frustrate the process.
