The fall out from FBD’s decision not to pay business interruption cover as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown continues, with one of the country’s leading pub groups issuing a High Court action against the insurer. The Loyola Group, which runs a chain of high-profile pubs throughout Dublin, initiated proceedings yesterday, and intends to have the case admitted to the Commercial Court in the coming days.
