It has overhauled its board and governing structures following a string of financial and management irregularities that almost collapsed the organisation. Now, the FAI is suing the big four accountancy firm Deloitte over its handling of the association’s audits. The case was lodged in the High Court yesterday, with court records showing it has retained the law firm Beale & Company to manage the litigation.
