Ireland – its economy, its society, its policy system and its housing market – is still living in the shadow of the Celtic Tiger, a bubble that burst almost 20 years ago. Human systems are, of course, slow-moving, and thus it makes sense that something now will bear a strong resemblance to its predecessor from two decades ago.
