Six external parties with a track record in hospitality have shown an interest in investing in Dylan McGrath’s struggling Fade Street Social bar and restaurant, the Circuit Court has heard. To whittle down the competition, clarifications on the six investment proposals are now being sought by Dessie Morrow of Azets, the examiner appointed to try and restructure the insolvent business. On Tuesday, he was granted an extension to the period of examinership until September to advance negotiations. He aims to undertake due diligence and reach an agreement with a preferred investor by August 29 (day 65 of the protection period). …
