The storied founder of Southwest Airlines, Herb Kelleher, was once asked if he had a strategy for the future of his company. “Yes, we have a strategy, it’s called doing things,” he replied. As the Irish Department of Transport continues to review aviation 10 years after its 2015 National Aviation Policy, Kelleher’s view is worth considering.
