Last week, the Government published “Delivering Homes, Building Communities”, its latest five-year plan for housing. The plan, a follow-up to “Housing for All”, has the ambitious headline target of building a minimum of 300,000 new homes by the end of 2030. The plan has been launched in the final quarter of 2025, so presumably that target is a five-year one – ie between late 2025 and late 2030.
