Castlehaven, a specialist property lender, and Elkstone, a multifamily office, have jointly installed accountants Grant Thornton as a receiver to a company called Islandbridge Bellevue Developments (IBD). The company was building 29 apartments in Dublin 8, which were almost completed prior to the appointment of a receiver on July 1. IBD is owned by Darren Corcoran, a developer from Meath. Corcoran is best known for founding Genius Builds, a specialist modular construction firm, and was previously owner of a cinema, casino and bowling centre in Roscommon.
