Spare a thought for the columnist who chose last week, of all weeks, to write a piece on how judicial reviews are not the cause of Ireland’s inability to build homes or, more broadly, to get things done. They would have submitted their piece a few days before, blissfully unaware that, the day before their piece was to come out, the MetroLink judicial review controversy was about to explode. But explode it did, as the Dartmouth 20 consigned Dublin’s proposed metro to at least one, if not two or three years, of delay. That delay sparked widespread anger and bewilderment…
