An interim examiner has been appointed to the company behind some of Waterford’s best-known bars and nightclubs in a move likely to be watched closely by other venues devastated by Covid-19. Accountant Joe Walsh was appointed yesterday to try and rescue Avello Ltd the company behind four prominent interlinked venues in Waterford called Heery’s Bar and Restaurant, Market Bar, Electric Avenue and a nightclub called Project.
