Medtech start-up Teleatherapy has called a creditors’ meeting to appoint liquidators to the company. The Cork start-up was co-founded by Clare Meskill and was developing software tools for speech and language therapists to help deliver speech therapy to people with Parkinson’s disease. It had raised €700,000 from investors. The idea for Teleatherapy was sparked by Meskill’s own work as a qualified speech and language therapist (SLT), and witnessing the challenges that patients face in between appointments with an SLT.
