The 2026 Six Nations was pulsating. Probably the best ever, the wild odyssey finally came to a dramatic end with the last kick giving victory to France in Paris. When Thomas Ramos nonchalantly slotted it over, many of us in Barnhall had mixed feelings. Of course, we were disappointed that Ireland had just been pipped, but we were more delighted that a son of Barnhall was on the pitch helping to propel France to glory.
