We are all monitoring petrol and diesel prices at the pumps several times a day. The steps taken by the Government to cut excise duty may take some of the sting out of prices but it will not make the energy cost crisis precipitated by the war in Iran go away. Businesses need to provide a warm and safe workplace for employees, gas creates the heat many companies need for manufacturing, and deliveries in and out are often reliant on petrol and diesel vehicles.
