Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI), the commercial semi-state body which oversees the industry, recently settled a defamation case taken by the author of a 2017 report which raised serious concerns about overbreeding and culling of dogs. GRI commissioned Preferred Results Ltd, a business improvement and turnaround company owned and run by Raymond O’Hanlon, to produce a business model analysis on the future prospects of the industry.
