Former hospitality mogul Paddy McKillen Jr has advanced in “bad faith” a narrative marked by “self serving dishonesty” in an attempt to have a €2.1 million bankruptcy summons against him dismissed, lawyers for a lender have told the High Court. The disputed debt was called in by Herbert Street Property Finance (HSPF) on loan facilities issued in 2022 to Cool Dust Ltd, allegedly to aid the construction of The Pinnacle luxury apartment complex by Oakmount in Mount Merrion, Dublin.
