Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is joining its rivals Temu and Shein in establishing a base in Dublin. The company, which is often referred to as the Chinese Amazon and recently made a fresh play for the European market, is setting up a beachhead in Dublin with about 30 people. Last year the company set up several corporate entities in Ireland and has begun hiring staff in the city.
