Accountants David O’Connor and Ian Barrett of BDO were appointed as liquidators this Monday to 17 companies all related to the businesswoman Joan Lynch. Eight of the companies were trading entities of Born Clothing and one additional was the parent company for the group. In addition, Barret and O’Connor were appointed liquidators of eight investment property companies owned by Joan Lynch. The appointment was approved by Mt Justice Oisín Quinn in the High Court, which also heard details of the issues facing the company as outlined by Stephen Brady, counsel for the liquidator.
