Various contractual breaches, including fire safety, overcrowding and health concerns, were documented at 46 privately-run international protection accommodation centres so far this year, an analysis of State inspection reports shows.  This accounts for over half of the 87 inspections carried out between January and March 2026 by the International Protection Accommodation Service (Ipas).
