In July 2022, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council rejected plans for a mixed-use office, school, and religious development in Sandyford.  The proposals, designed by Reddy Charlton, included two new office blocks of four and five storeys, along with a rebuild of special education school St Michael’s House, and a new faith centre for the Legionaries of Christ Catholic congregation who owned the lands at Rocklands on Leopardstown Road.
