A proposal to clear tax debts of over €2.2 million owed by companies run by property developer Greg Kavanagh was turned down by Revenue as “very improbable” and not “sufficiently detailed”, the High Court has heard. The tax authority is pushing to wind up four companies linked to Kavanagh for non-payment of mostly fiduciary taxes between 2018 and 2020.
