Provisional liquidators have been appointed to the collapsed ticket platform Tickets.ie, in a bid to ringfence nearly €600,000 allegedly owed to three festival promoters that ran events over the June bank holiday weekend. The urgent application was made on an ex parte basis (without the other side being on notice) on behalf of Total Country Ltd, which runs a country music festival in Leitrim; Event Ready Ltd behind the Rockathon at Fairyhouse, Co Meath; and the Rory Gallagher International Tribute festival in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.
