Itochu Corporation is one of Japan’s largest trading houses with a market capitalisation of over $96 billion (€84 billion). Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is an investor and significant shareholder in the business, which trades across 60 countries and multiple industries. It has now added a new investment to its portfolio, having taken a strategic shareholding in Sirius Aviation Capital Holdings, the Irish-led global aviation lessor.
