Wellman International, a specialist plastics business in Cavan, has commenced legal proceedings against its former owner Indorama Ventures, listed on the Thailand stock exchange, along with various subsidiaries and the former directors of the company, Anthony Troy, Sunil Baldi, Ashok Jain, Manoj Kumar Singhi, Jonathan Dvorkin, and Shishir Pimplikir. Magnus Hammick, a director of Wellman International, is the chief executive of British green-tech firm UG Group, which bought the business out of examinership last August.
