Emerald Meats founder John McCarthy’s has won just a partial victory in his legal battles against a former business partner in the UK after his most serious claims of fraud were deemed “flimsy” by the judge. McCarthy, who founded Emerald Meats, best known for legal battles with Ireland’s Department of Agriculture in the 1990s, sued Ivor Desmond Marshall over claims of breaches of fiduciary responsibilities and fraud.
