Liquidators have been appointed to five companies run by developer Greg Kavanagh over tax debts of €2.2 million. Lawyers for the firms informed the High Court on Monday that the companies were not in a position to resolve the Revenue debts, after an undertaking to pay what was due went unsatisfied. Justice Oisín Quinn consented to the Revenue petition, moved by barrister Shaula Connaughton-Deeny, and ordered the winding up of the five insolvent companies: Fofo Investments, Beakonshaw Management, For Much Needed Housing, New Generation Construction and Sequana Assets.
