Walking along Quay Street in Donegal town, you’ll notice something odd. On your left as you walk into the town, you’ll see a large bar and restaurant called McCafferty’s at The Pier. The pub and restaurant’s facade, painted in deep green and cream, promises live music, good food, and céad mile fáilte. Carry on another 100 metres, and on your right-hand side, you’ll note another pub, also called McCafferty’s and also decked out in the same livery.
