The High Court has refused to grant an injunction preventing Goldstein Property, the fund owned and advised by Mel Sutcliffe of Quanta Capital, from pursuing litigation in New York, amid allegations of lawfare. The anti-suit injunction was sought by alternative lender Relm, which claimed that the US legal proceedings were being used as a weapon by the fund as part of a legal row over Relm’s decision to appoint receivers to 47 commercial properties in Ireland owned by Goldstein.
